What path led you to wealth management?
I have served as a secretary/executive assistant for years in both the education and medical fields. I view myself as customer-obsessed and follow the philosophy of servant leadership.
Why did you join TDC Investment Advisory?
I joined TDC for the opportunity to be a part of this team and to be of service to our clients. I share TDC’s desire to do more and be more for our clients.
What most excites you about your work?
I love connecting with clients and the role I am able to play in helping them to achieve their desired outcome whatever that may be.
What has been your most rewarding career experience?
My most rewarding career experience is knowing that I make a difference for our clients. I am humbled by the trust they have in me and their confidence that if I don’t know the answer, I will connect them with the right person on our team that will be able to provide it for them.
What personal accomplishments are you most proud of?
I am proud to say I have been married to my husband, Steve, for 40 years. Together we raised our beautiful daughter and built a life I would not trade for anything. I also take great pride in my role as grandma to my three grandchildren. It is a role I was meant to play.
Why do families need to be stronger, closer, and wiser?
Family means everything whether that is the family you were born/adopted into or the one you have chosen for yourself. Decisions you make today can dramatically impact your future. Making those decisions based on sound judgment provided by trusted individuals can make all the difference.
What do you like to do outside of work? What’s your favorite way to spend a weekend?
My husband and I love to entertain. Whether hosting a dinner party at our home or barbequing at our cottage, time spent with family and friends has value beyond price.
What are some of your biggest influences?
My Mom’s love for her children and grandchildren has always been a big influence. Her southern humor will forever be a part of me. My faith, which she instilled, continues to guide me.
