What path led you to wealth management?
The banking channel really led me to wealth management. I started in banking right out of college, and while working with business partners at the branch, was introduced to investments through the Private Bank Investment division.
Why did you join TDC Investment Advisory?
TDC has a long-standing reputation in the community as a leader in wealth management services to families with complex financial situations. When I was given the opportunity to work for TDC, I was thrilled to join a team that digs as deeply into their client’s wealth management needs to simplify all of their financial complexities.
What most excites you about your work?
Finding and discovering my individual “why.” When I joined TDC, I found “the why” behind my career. From the moment I step through the front door in the morning to when I log off at night, I feel as though I am making a difference for our clients and their families. It’s a great feeling knowing “the why” behind what you do every day.
What has been your most rewarding career experience?
Having the opportunity to work with the caliber of people who are employed here at TDC. I also love seeing the excitement and passion that our team feels when we collaborate and come together to help families.
What personal accomplishments are you most proud of?
In short, my most dear accomplishments are my two daughters. However, I am really proud of becoming a Catholic mother. When I joined the Catholic Church in 2016, God showed me what it was to become a better mother and example for my daughters.
Why do families need to be stronger, closer, and wiser?
I think it is easy for us to take our families for granted sometimes. Without them and their support, we would easily lose our way. Helping families be stronger, closer, and wiser, not only helps that family but helps everyone they associate with as well. They then become an example for those around them of what is truly important in life.
What do you like to do outside of work? What’s your favorite way to spend a weekend?
On the weekends, I can be found at home, spending time with my husband, Ryan, and my two children. During the summer, we enjoy spending time at the pool every weekend and make some of our most cherished family memories there.
What are some of your biggest influences?
My biggest influences are my mother, father, and husband. My mother and father imparted an entrepreneurial work ethic all throughout my life. Hard work and responsibilities always came first, and with no complaining and no excuses. Their philosophy was “you get back what you put out” and they reminded me of this constantly. My husband was raised very similarly, and I can see the hard work and dedication he brings to both his work life and our home life every day. These examples, as well as their support, are a lot of what drives me to do better and be better each day.
