What path led you to wealth management?
I began working at TDC as a sophomore majoring in Health Care Administration at the University of Toledo. My long-term career goal was to help others. TDC was looking for some short-term help organizing their files and I came onboard during my Christmas break from school. During those few weeks, I grew to enjoy the team and the atmosphere TDC provided and asked to stay part-time during the school year. Fast forward to my senior year, I took a health care internship as a requirement for graduation. At graduation when faced with my career path decision, I found the purpose of wealth management calling my name.

The connections I create with people daily are what excites me the most. Whether it is with our clients or with my colleagues, I enjoy being able to directly see the good we do and the impact we make.
What has been your most rewarding career experience?
Watching our team grow over my tenure. When I began at TDC, we were a team of 8. Now, as a team of over 40, we provide more services to more families than I ever would have thought possible. Seeing the impact we have made for our clients and our own associates has been fulfilling.
What personal accomplishments are you most proud of?
I am personally proud of the life that my husband and I have built with our two children. Finding the balance in being a working mother has not always been easy, but as a team, we have made it possible.
Why do families need to stronger, closer, and wiser?
The very foundation of my personal joy and happiness is my family. TDC aims to dig deeper into our client relationships, allowing families to connect their wealth and purpose, and pass those values on to future generations in their family. My hope is that our process allows the families we help to feel the same connection with each other that I do with my own.
What do you like to do outside of work? What’s your favorite way to spend a weekend?
My favorite way to spend my weekend is with my family. Most often, you can find us in our backyard, my daughter on the swing set, my husband with his “Daddio of the Patio” apron on grilling lunch, and me chasing my son around the yard.
What are some of your biggest influences?
The biggest influences in my life are my family. My husband is hard-working, intelligent, and decisive. My daughter is kind and empathetic. My son is fearless and funny. They each take me out of my comfort zone daily, encouraging me to be a better version of myself.
