What path led you to wealth management?

Before TDC, I was not necessarily pursuing work in wealth management. However, when I discovered TDC on the job hunt, I really felt like it would be a perfect match. My mom worked in wealth management for 39 years and after getting some insight from her about how rewarding it can be, I felt that I could take the leap and try it. It is the best job I’ve had and I feel in a small part I help make a difference.

Why did you join TDC Investment Advisory?

I found a TDC job post online, and it honestly sounded like a perfect fit for me. I joined the team in 2015, and throughout the years I have enjoyed learning and growing professionally. I have also gotten closer to and have helped my colleagues and clients as well.

What most excites you about your work?

Every day I get to come to work and accomplish my daily tasks. I also love that I get to help my colleagues and clients with tasks or requests. I feel like this help makes their day a bit easier and less stressful.

What has been your most rewarding career experience?

The most rewarding part of my career so far would be the connections I have made with my colleagues and clients.

What personal accomplishments are you most proud of?

I am most proud of being a wife to my husband, Bob, and a mom to my son, Bennett.

Why do families need to be stronger, closer, and wiser?

Family means everything to me. As a parent, I strive to instill strong values in my son, so that he carries them with him in all he does. My hope is that passing on these strong values to the next generations will help all families to be stronger, closer, and wiser.

What do you like to do outside of work? What is your favorite way to spend a weekend?

I always enjoy spending time with my family. I also enjoy reading, crafting, and baking when I have the time. My favorite way to spend my weekend is to sit outside with a good book.

What are some of your biggest influences?

My mom is my biggest influence. As a single mom, she worked both a full-time day job and a part-time job while raising two children. She always told us we could do anything we put our minds to and if we work hard, it will pay off. She inspired me to be just like her when I grew up because she is the strongest and hardest working person I know.
