What path led you to wealth management?
I loved my previous job, but when I had my daughter, I knew I needed a more structured schedule. A co-worker’s mother worked in HR in the financial industry. She heard I was looking, asked for my resume, and passed it on to a recruiter she worked with. That recruiter introduced me to TDC and I am forever grateful they did.
Why did you join TDC?
The motto ‘Helping Families be Families’ and the genuine encounters I had during my interview. I knew quickly this was a team I would enjoy working with and their drive to help others is cohesive with my personal motivation.
What most excites you about your work?
We have some of the most friendly and generous clients. I enjoy getting to know them and helping their families.
What has been your most rewarding career experience?
When clients have turned to me for help. Having the ability to help them, and the knowledge that I earned their trust, reminds me that I am where I should be.
What personal accomplishments are you most proud of?
Being told that my daughter is kind and generous or hearing how she has comforted another child. Passing down the values taught to me by my grandmother is my greatest mission.
Why do families need to be stronger, closer, and wiser?
We teach our children the basics of learning and life but often miss the lessons on sharing that wealth and knowledge. If we want our next generation to be prepared for success, we need to instill our drive, morals, and compassion.
What do you like to do outside of work? What’s your favorite way to spend a weekend?
I love to travel or enjoy the outdoors with my family and friends. We are all happy campers, beachgoers, and hikers.
What are some of your biggest influences?
My two biggest influences are my Grammy and my Aunt. They are two of the kindest, most witty, and generous people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Through their example, I developed a love of reading and knowledge. They also taught me to always try to help and connect with others.
