What path led you to wealth management?

When I was graduating from college I knew I wanted a career in finance but also in an area that serves people. In 2005 I joined a global wealth management firm and quickly discovered that when people’s finances are taken care of it allows them to focus on their purpose with greater intention.

I am passionate about helping people put together a comprehensive plan for their finances. I believe when your finances are taken care of and you know what your wealth is for then it frees you to be a better spouse, parent, and leader. I get excited about leading people through the process of connecting their wealth with their purpose.

What has been your most rewarding career experience?

I am blessed to have a career where I get to do what I love. What is most rewarding to me in my career is the influence that I am able to have with families to help lead them in discovering how their wealth can help them achieve greater significance.

My marriage to my wife, Faye, and our two children, David and Catherine. I also had the privilege of serving our country for six years in the United States Air Force.

Why do families need to be stronger, closer, and wiser?

The importance of family cannot be over emphasized. Families that are stronger, closer, and wiser are able to have generational impact on society. Families that know where wisdom comes from and are able to teach the next generation can have an eternal impact.

What do you like to do outside of work? What’s your favorite way to spend a weekend?

I love traveling with my wife, snowboarding with my son, David, and taking long walks with my daughter, Catherine. My favorite way to spend a weekend is with family.

What are some of your biggest influences?

The greatest influence on my life is my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Along the way God has put different men in my life to lead, guide, and mentor me to the next stage of my life. I wouldn’t be where I am today without God’s tender hand leading me every step of the way.
