Angelo Spinazze

Family Wealth Adviser

What path led you to wealth management?

From an early age, I was interested in finance and investing out of curiosity. I remember being a part of conversations with family members and I did not fully understand what was being discussed, so I started asking questions and reading about finance and eventually studied it in college. I’ve always enjoyed getting to know people and their stories as well. Wealth management is an industry that connects those two things in an amazing way.

Why did you join TDC?

I joined TDC because of the people and the culture that exists here. Everyone here is motivated to help our clients and their families as if it were their own. That meant a lot to me from the day I started here as an intern, so it was a natural fit to join.

What most excites you about your work?

It’s a really big deal that clients trust us to help them with their financial lives, so having a seat at their table excites me. Also, our clients’ lives and markets are constantly changing and providing new challenges. Helping them navigate those challenges is very fulfilling.

What has been your most rewarding career experience?

Our clients and colleagues are extraordinary people and learning from them and their experiences have been very rewarding.

What personal accomplishments are you most proud of?

Being married to my wife Marisa is by far my most proud personal accomplishment. Building a family with her is what gives me joy.

Why do families need to be stronger, closer, and wiser?

The family unit is fundamental to our country and our own personal success. Families need to be stronger, closer, and wiser to protect their values and to give the next generation the opportunity to succeed. Particularly in our business, we have an obligation to help ensure next generation is ready to manage wealth effectively. That comes from bringing families together and educating them.

What do you like to do outside of work? What’s your favorite way to spend a weekend?

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. A sign of a good weekend is ending with a big Sunday dinner at my Nonna’s house. Aside from that, I enjoy fitness and doing things outdoors.

What are some of your biggest influences?

My faith and my family are my two biggest influences. They have taught me the importance of a strong work ethic, humility, and how to help others.
